Clock Instructions

Analogue Wall and Mantel Clocks

To set the time on an analogue wall or mantel clock, use the adjustment dial on the back of the clock. Turn it in either direction until the hands show the correct time. Do not move the hands directly — on open-faced clocks without a lens this may seem tempting but it can strip the mechanism and permanently damage the clock.

Analogue Alarm Clocks

Analogue alarm clocks have two separate knobs on the back, one for setting the time and one for setting the alarm. Both knobs must only be turned in the direction of the arrow printed on the back of the clock. Turning either knob against the arrow can cause the alarm to trigger at the wrong time.

Set the time first using the time knob, then set your desired alarm time using the alarm knob, both following the arrow direction throughout. To activate the alarm, make sure the alarm switch on the back of the clock is set to On.
