Newgate is a local family business based in Oswestry who design, make and distribute quartz clocks and eyewear.
We are looking for someone enthusiastic and hardworking for this varied role in our small sales team. We design and make the brands Newgate Clocks, Jones Clocks and London Mole Eyewear, selling online, to boutique lifestyle stores, department stores, supermarkets worldwide, and have an increasing presence on Amazon. You will be based in our Oswestry head office and will be involved in all areas of sales including the upkeep of our e-commerce listings, stores, pricing, reporting and key account sales support as well as handling customer enquiries, processing orders and returns. Previous experience with Amazon, e-commerce or other online marketplace preferred but not essential.
Your role will include:
- Creating and maintaining Amazon and other marketplace listings.
- Improving and optimising content to help grow sales.
- Handling retail and trade customer and account enquiries over email and phone.
- Processing web and trade orders/returns and inputting into our order management software.
- Responding to customer queries, monitoring reviews, and troubleshooting any issues.
- Researching current trends and best practices.
- Assist with monitoring and analysing performance to increase sales.
- Ensuring all administration is up to date.

- Experience with e-commerce listings on Amazon or other online marketplace an advantage but not essential.
