Product Development Assistant

You will be working between our busy design studio where our clocks, watches, eyewear and sunglasses are created and supply chain, to ensure seamless and timely delivery of products for customers whilst maintaining our high quality standards. You’ll be overseeing product development from concept through to production, being a key contact for our overseas factories, reporting to management. You must demonstrate a high level of creativity, initiative, intuition and quickly develop an in-depth understanding of our products and design processes.

Your role:

  • Provide step-by-step technical assistance throughout the product development process.
  • Daily communication with overseas factories on all product details.
  • Ensure information is communicated in a timely manner and conveyed to all appropriate parties.
  • Liaise with our design studio to deliver a smooth transition from concept to finished product.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues during development and manufacture.
  • Track and manage the sample process, comment and submit approvals.
  • Confidently troubleshoot product issues.
  • Negotiate costings with international suppliers and raise purchase orders.
  • Analyse and test products, collate data and report.
  • Ensure that all details are accurately updated and clearly documented.
  • Write in-depth product specifications detailing quality expectations for inspection.
  • Increase efficiency whilst maintaining our high quality standards.

  • Would suit graduate with product, engineering, mathematical, or design background.
