It was the season that Hedi Slimane took over at Celine (and removed the apostrophe from the é), Riccardo Tisci revealed his first collection for Burberry and Victoria Beckham returned to show in London, from New York. One month, four cities, hundreds of shows. Read on to get inspiration into the trends that will find their way into your wardrobes - and wristwear - for SS19.

Grown Up Neons

Go big, bright and bold for SS19. Think hues of millennial pink, gen-z yellow, neon green and citrus orange. These highlighter shades were seen at Jasper Conran, House of Holland and Roksanda llincic. Our latest wristwear collection (launching soon), takes inspiration from this trend. Maximalist brights are back for Newgate in 2019. Watch this space!

En Beige

Whether it’s neutral, earthy, stony or oatmeal, beige is back with a bang (again) for spring/summer. Models were wearing the shade head-to-toe, from Burberry and Max Mara to Christian Dior and Tom Ford. Our versatile Blip watch is the perfect everyday accessory. Available in a cream, clay or reverse black dial, each with a nude nubuck leather strap. For something more feminine; the Atom in nude or tan, has a petite-dial inspired by the art-deco era and The New York is a contemporary, minimalist timepiece complimented with a nude or tan leather strap.

California Dreaming

Take inspiration from the seaside for this trend. Focused on maritime influences; rope and fisherman’s hats were seen on the runway. Chanel even turned the catwalk into a beach, with real sand! Accessorise your outfit with a canvas strap. The Torpedo is our take on a classic aviator dial watch, inspired by the functional aesthetic of military marine instrumentation, finished off with a black canvas strap. Or why not choose the Drumline. A minimalist modern watch with a contemporary spun steel dial and complimented with a green or navy lightweight canvas strap.

Tailoring

Suits dominated the street style at fashion week in October. Press, buyers and influencers donned their finest velvet, tuxedo, tweed, checks and good old beige suits ready to sit ‘frow’ and watch the latest shows. Nothing pulls a tailored look together like a statement timepiece. So, invest in our oversized Drummer watches. This opulent wristwear collection features a deep solid case, bold marker dial and black Italian leather strap. Available in two sizes; 40mm (Drummer) and 50mm (Drummer Grand). Plus, you can choose from four luxe colourways; silver, gold, black with gold and cream with contrasting red hands.

Utilitarian

Fashion meets functionality for this trend. Models were sent down the runway in combat trousers, boiler suits and military jackets. Update your wristwear to meet this trend with the Drumline monochrome series. We took inspiration from the utilitarian architecture of global cityscapes for this collection. These monochrome styles fuse luxe design with minimalist style. Available in a contemporary numeral dial or bold marker dial and finished off with all-black leather straps.

Stack it Up

You’ll never be late again with this spring / summer accessory trend. Stack your wristwear high, as seen on Milly SS19 ready-to-wear in New York. Whether it’s the New York in grey leather, the Blip in nude or a classic Milanese mesh strap (try the Atom or the Cubeline); wearing more than one watch will bring your accessories bang up-to-date.

Silver Fox

Not just for Christmas, this metallic tone was seen all over the runway at Roland Mouret. Add some silver into your SS19 wardrobe with our collection of silver mesh or grey leather watches. For something subtle go for the New York; this minimalist timepiece has a stainless-steel case, contemporary marker dial and soft grey nubuck leather strap. To make a statement choose from; the Cubeline with a unique square case, the Drumline for simple and chic or the petite-dial Atom.
